PHONIX is a Bass Head through and through.
Currently based in San Diego, California, his passion for music developed from a young age, and has become a unique addition to the culture. His style stems from listening to hip-hop, electro, and alt rock influences, and continues to evolve as he comes into his own.
His first voyage into the underground was in the Los Angeles warehouse scene in 2017. The raw nature of the venue, combined with the stripped back usage of lighting, created an atmosphere unlike anything he had ever experienced, and he never looked back.
The following years were spent in pursuit of that moment. When everything comes together to create that atmosphere, which carries weight. Warehouse undergrounds in LA, club nights in San Diego, as well as trips to Detroit, New York, and Berlin, he lives to experience the pinnacle of nightlife first-hand.
In 2022 he founded the collective, AXIOM as a means to push himself creatively, and to contribute towards the growth of the industry. His use of contrast, quick cuts, and seamless blends, creates a unique sound that ranges from deep hypnotic grooves, to high octane dancefloor movers.
His respect for the craft comes from his years of experience, and passion for the music.
